The James M. Slater Proton Treatment and Research Center at Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC) is a pioneer in the field of proton treatment and research.

Since the LLUMC Proton Treatment Center opened in 1990, our physicians and scientists have treated more than 20 different types of cancer & non-cancerous conditions, providing proton therapy for more than 17,000 patients with cancer or other tumors since the center opened.
